Truth and the Traveler
有个人在荒凉的野外赶路，他看到一位妇女神情沮丧地独自站在路旁，便问她：“你是谁？”她回答：“我的名字是真理。”他又问：“那你为什么会来到如此荒凉的地方，而不在繁华的闹市呢？”真理回答道：“在古时候，谬误只存在少数人身上，可现在任何地方都可以看到他的身影。”
当周围充满谬误时，真理就远离了。
A wayfaring man，traveling in the desert，met a woman standing alone and terribly dejected. He inquired of her，“Who are thou？”“My name is Truth，” she replied. “And for what cause，” he asked，“have you left the city to dwell alone here in the wilderness？” She made answer，“Because in former times，falsehood was with few，but is now with all men.”
